Paris Hilton's sex tape co-star Rick Salomon has reportedly offered to drop his $10 million lawsuit against her family - in exchange for the distribution rights to the video.
Salomon - the husband of Beverly Hills 90120 actress Shannen Doherty - made the offer on January 15 according to court papers obtained by the Smoking Gun.com, to the disgust of the Hilton family's lawyers.
The legal battle broke out after the Hilton family accused Salomon of being responsible for leaking the tape, in which the former couple are seen having sex, on the internet.
Salomon has denied any responsibility but has now asked to be allowed to sell the tape via pay-per-view, if he drops the case.
But Hilton lawyer Heather McCloskey has branded the move "beneath contempt," reports Newsfilter
